TCM & Atkinson Crawford Sales Co. Announce Merger, Uniting Two Leading Texas Based Brokers
TCM and Atkinson Crawford Sales Co. have announced their strategic merger, bringing together two highly respected Texas-based sales and marketing organizations with a combined legacy spanning more than a century serving manufacturers, retailers, and distributors.
The merger represents the coming together of two organizations built on entrepreneurial spirit, trusted relationships, and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional results. Founded in 1987, TCM was established to unite a network of independent entrepreneurs serving the convenience industry and has grown into a leading sales and marketing organization with deep expertise in foodservice and center store categories. Atkinson Crawford Sales Co., founded in 1960, has built a reputation as one of Texas' premier sales agencies, evolving from its roots in confection into a full-service, multi-generational sales organization serving clients across categories and channels throughout the Southwest and beyond.
Effective immediately, TCM and Atkinson Crawford will operate as one unified organization. By bringing these complementary organizations together, clients gain access to broader customer relationships, expanded channel expertise, deeper category knowledge, stronger retail execution, and an even larger team dedicated to helping brands grow. The combined organization is uniquely positioned to help manufacturers accelerate growth while continuing to provide the local market knowledge and personalized service that have long defined both companies.
"We're excited to bring together two outstanding organizations with complementary strengths and shared values," said Steve Bub, CEO of TCM. "This merger creates new opportunities for growth while preserving the entrepreneurial culture and customer-first approach that have defined both companies for decades."
As part of the merger, all employees from both organizations will remain with the combined company, ensuring continuity of relationships, market knowledge, and day-to-day operations. Clients and customers should expect a seamless transition, with no disruption to existing services, support, or business operations.
Steve Bub will serve as President of the combined organization. Rayelynn Spear, Scott Gibbons, Chad Yost, and Keith Gabrysch will continue in senior leadership roles, helping guide the organization through the next chapter.
The merger also expands the combined organization's national reach through CSN, a network of regional broker partners that provides coordinated national coverage while maintaining strong local market expertise. Atkinson Crawford has been a member of CSN since its founding in 1999, and through this merger, TCM will join the network as a CSN Partner. The addition of TCM strengthens the CSN network by expanding coverage across the South, giving clients access to an experienced team and deep customer relationships.
Over the coming months, clients and customers will begin to see the TCM and Atkinson Crawford names used together during a planned transition period.
Together, TCM and Atkinson Crawford are creating a stronger organization built to help manufacturers, retailers, and distributor partners succeed in an increasingly competitive marketplace. By combining the experience and capabilities of both teams, the organization is well positioned to support continued growth across Texas, the Central South, and beyond.
