Cathy has spent a life-time working in the convenience store business.  She considers herself a student of the convenience channel and have enjoyed a successful career in many faucets of the business.  Cathy started out in the retail operations side of the business where I worked for 17 years.  She managed convenience stores and high-volume travel centers, as well as a multi-unit district manager and as a division training manager for one of the largest convenience store chains in the country.  Cathy executed extremely successful full deli programs in those locations that were recognized as the leaders in foodservice for convenience stores.
Cathy later went on to spend 11 years in convenient store distribution as a foodservice category manager.  Some responsibilities were purchasing and procurement of all foodservice, refrigerated, frozen, beverage, store supplies and grocery categories. In addition, she was responsible for all related inventory control duties, program development & execution, vendor negotiations, marketing and sales support.  Afterward, Cathy moved into the role as the director of foodservice, managing a foodservice replenishment buyer for the day to day purchasing side. As director of foodservice, she focused on development of programs and program execution, marketing and sales support, planning company trade show events, and outside trade show events.  Cathy also had full management responsibility of 4 outside foodservice sales specialists, coffee & equipment manager, and one coffee equipment technician.
The last two years, she  developed turn-key foodservice programs for convenience stores to include franchises, proprietary brands, and equipment.
